Modern Backyard Transformation
Project Overview
The Challenge
The homeowners had a dated backyard with uneven terrain, an aging wooden deck, and poor drainage that made the space unusable after rainfall. They wanted a modern outdoor living area where they could entertain guests and enjoy evenings by the fire.
Our Solution
We designed and built a multi-level interlocking patio with a built-in fire pit area, new retaining walls for grade changes, and a comprehensive drainage system. Premium Unilock pavers were selected to complement the home's modern architecture, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
The Results
The finished space completely transformed how the homeowners use their backyard. The multi-level design added visual depth and separated a dining area from the fire pit lounge, while the new drainage system eliminated all standing water issues. The clients now entertain outdoors regularly and have received numerous compliments from neighbors — several of whom have since reached out to Pedra for their own projects.
